Tona B. Dahlquist Casting is now hiring stand-ins and extras to work on scenes filming in Charleston, South Carolina starting this February. Casting directors are looking for talent to work on scenes filming throughout Charleston, South Carolina.
About HBO’s The Righteous Gemstones:
Danny McBride (Eastbound & Down, Vice Principals) is returning to HBO with his latest project, The Righteous Gemstones. The new comedy centers around a world-famous televangelist family with a long tradition of deviance, greed and charitable work — all in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. McBride will star as main character Jesse Gemstone, who sees himself as a maverick in the ministry game, taking what his father, Eli Gemstone, has built and expanded it for a more modern audience. In addition to playing Jesse, McBride will also serve as a writer, director and executive producer on the series. (Via)
How to audition?
THE RIGHTEOUS GEMSTONES Season 1 (Charleston, SC) is accepting early submissions for those interested in working as Extras and Stand Ins for the upcoming season. (We will not officially be working until mid Feb…but allowing those interested to go on and submit)
Those interested MUST include all of the following in their submission:
*2 RECENT PHOTOS ( a body and head shot) attached to email. Please do not send all information and photo on a sheet. Photos can be taken with a cell phone. Photos should have been taken within the past 6 weeks, reflect your current hair cut and color (and facial hair for males). No hats, sunglasses or other people should be in the photo. No filters or photo editing.
* Name, *Phone Number (we prefer cell #), *Age,
* Location (City, State), *Height, Weight, * Clothing Sizes:
MALES-Pant Size (was it & inseam), Jacket Size (example 44R) Shirt -Neck & Sleeve, Casual Shirt Size (S,M, L, XL) Shoe/Boot.
FEMALES – Measurements (Chest, Waist, Hips) Dress Size, Pants, Shirt, Skirt, Shoe Size.
*Description and location of any tattoos or piercings. Include if you have or do not have an artist release for visible tattoos.
* Color,Make, Model,Year Vehicles you have access to: Include a vehicle photo if possible.
*Include any ACTUAL/REAL Professional Experience (not acting as such) for the following Police Officer/ Detective/Fireman, Military, EMT, Medical/Physician/Nurse, Professional Photographer, Singer/Dancer/Musician, Bartender/Waitress, ..etc..
* SUBMISSIONS should be sent to [email protected] with heading being your Race, Gender, Age, City/State you reside. Example -Latino Male, 38, Charleston, SC.
***Anyone submitting must be from the filming area or within a short driving distance and willing to work as local non union extra for the area.
***Filming will resume the first of March.
