‘Empire‘ Season 2 casting call for recurring roles in Chicago, Illinois.
‘Empire’ centers around a hip hop music and entertainment company, Empire Entertainment, and the drama among the members of the founders’ family as they fight for control of the company. The hour-long family drama was created by Lee Daniels and Danny Strong, and stars Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson.
The show’s premiere ranked as Fox’s highest-rated debut in three years. Viewership has increased continuously; Empire is the first series in at least 23 years to have its viewership increase week to week for its first five episodes. The show continues to increase its viewership with further episodes. Episodes of the show have also been heavily watched on Video on Demand and other streaming services.
Casting directors are looking for extras for recurring roles on ‘Empire’ Season 2. Producers are seeking upscale club goers to be part of a core group who will work throughout season 2 of ‘Empire’.

CASTING CALL: EMPIRE!

ROLES: UPSCALE CLUB GOERS
RATE: $80/8
We are looking upscale club goers to be part of a core group who will work throughout the season two – Any Ethnicity, Male/Female, 21 – 35
Send an email to [email protected] with the following info
1) Put Upscale Club Goer in the subject line.
2) Include your name, phone number, email address, zip code, height, weight and age in the body of the email
3) Attach recent jpeg photos of yourself – it can be a candid shots – close up and full body – make sure you are against a neutral/plain wall with decent lighting wearing an upscale outfit that you would be appropriate for a club. If you are fully made up in the picture, please send us a candid photo that is more natural as well.
4) Give us a general idea of your availability from June to February.

Board Members Casting Call
CASTING CALL: EMPIRE
ROLE: NON-UNION EXTRAS
RATE: $80/8
LOCATION: Chicago
SHOOT DATES: TBA
We are looking for people who have good availability to work in core groups for the season 2. This does not mean that you will work everyday, but you need to have good availability because the schedule can shift – i.e. this isn’t a 9 to 5 scenario. You need to have flexibility to work with the show’s production schedule – the show doesn’t work around your schedule.
If you were a recurring extra last season, we have reached out by either email or text message.
ROLES:
A & R GROUP & EMPIRE EMPLOYEES – cool business vibe, but hip and trendy
BOARDROOM MEMBERS – suit types
MUSICIANS – we are looking for real musicians (and we want to know your musical experience), but this is just about portraying the part, not actually playing on the show
SECURITY/BOUNCERS – this group should be men of a larger statue
Male & Female, all ethnicity, ages 18-55
