 Electric Dreams is now casting kid actors in Chicago, Illinois.

Electric Dreams is now casting kid actors ages 9 to 12 years old to work on scenes filming in Chicago, Illinois. Casting directors are looking for boys and girls of any ethnicity to work on the show.

About Electric Dreams:

Amazon has picked up Philip K. Dick’s Electric Dreams (fka Electric Dreams: The World of Philip K. Dick), a 10-epiosde sci-fi anthology series from Ronald D. Moore, Michael Dinner, Bryan Cranston and Sony Pictures TV. The show, based on short stories by the award-winning novelist.

Each episode of Electric Dreams will be a stand-alone based on Dick’s shorts stories as adapted by a writers room made up of British and American writers. Joining Moore (Battlestar Galactica, Outlander) and Dinner (Justified) as writers are Tony Grisoni (Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas), Jack Thorne (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child), Matthew Graham (Doctor Who), David Farr (The Night Manager), Dee Rees (Bessie) and Travis Beacham (Pacific Rim).

SHOOT LOCATION: CHICAGO/SURROUNDING SUBURBS
NON-UNION EXTRA ROLES:
NOTE – please fill out the attached minor survey and submit an email submission.

1) KIDS:
DESCRIPTION: Boy/Girl, Any Ethnicity, Age Range: 9-12. We are looking for kids to work multiple days! We are specifically looking for kids that are at least 9 years old and 5’0 and shorter. Your child MUST have a current and valid work permit through 4 Star Casting or a work permit through an IL talent agency i.e. Shirley Hamilton, DeSanti, Stewart, etc. Please include in your submission what date(s) you are submitting your child for, include a photo of their current work permit, and confirm their height, weight, and age.
SHOOT DATES: Wed., 4/19
SHOOT DATES: Tues., 4/25 & Wed., 4/26 – Must repeat both dates due to continuity.
RATE: $150/8

1) Please put the role you are submitting for as the subject line i.e. “KID”
2) Please list your first and last name, telephone number, height, weight, age, and clothing measurements.
3) Please submit a close up and full body shot in JPEG format.
4) Please attach a photo of your child’s current work permit.
5) Please confirm the dates you are submitting your child for.
