Disney’s ‘A Wrinkle in Time’ Atlanta Open Casting Call

Disney is now casting lead roles in Atlanta, Georgia.

Disney is headed to the ATL to cast the upcoming feature film A Wrinkle in Time, which is directed by Ava Duvernay (Selma, Queen Sugar) and she is now seeking children for the lead roles in “A Wrinkle in Time”.

Disney is looking for children between the ages of 5 to 14 years old for the lead roles in the new movie.

The Disney feature film, “A Wrinkle in Time” being directed by Ava DuVernay (Selma, Queen Sugar) is seeking children for the lead roles in “A Wrinkle in Time”.

About A Wrinkle in Time:

A Wrinkle in Time centers around the story of a young girl who goes on an adventure in order to find her missing scientist father. Published in 1963, L’Engle won the coveted Newberry Medal.

We are seeking the following children:

  • 14 year old, Mixed-Race (African American/Caucasian) girl. This girl is questioning life, her place in the world and her family. While troubled, she possesses untapped strength and intelligence which carries her through her search for truth.
  • 5 year old, Mixed-Race (African American/Caucasian) boy. This boy is EXTREMELY intelligent and articulate. He is strong and loving and hyper-sensitive. 16 year old boy – Ethnic minority. He is a handsome, fit caring young man who becomes a friend to the above two kids.
