Disney Parks Talent Casting is holding an Open Call in Houston for Vocalists & Actors to perform in their Broadway-caliber, theatrical production of Disney’s Aladdin – A Musical Spectacular. Originally directed by world-renowned, award-winning director Francesca Zambello and choreographed by acclaimed Broadway choreographer Lynne Taylor-Corbett, this show is performed in the state-of-the-art, indoor, 2000-seat Hyperion Theater at Disney California Adventure® park.

Roles:
Aladdin: Male to play 18, 5’7”-5’11”, baritone/tenor with a youthful sound; great charisma, good physique; good looking guy filled with teenage charm and appeal; clever; survives on the streets of Agrabah
Genie: Male 20s-40s. Great Celebrity Impressionist, quickly transforms from character to character; especially seeking actors with improv and physical comedy background; Must be able to carry a tune.
Requirements:
•Must be at least 18 years of age and willing to relocate to California for the length of the contract.
•Principals/Chorus Singers, prepare 16 bars of a contemporary musical theatre selection showing vocal versatility and range; you may sing from the show. Bring sheet music in your key, an accompanist will be provided.
•Be prepared for a possible movement evaluation.
•Bring a current headshot and resume.
Entertainers for this show are covered under the terms and conditions of a collective bargaining agreement with the American Guild of Variety Artists (AGVA).
