Austin, Texas Casting Call – Dazed and Confused sequel, “That’s What I’m Talking About’ Casting Call for a Country Bar Scene in Texas.

Casting directors for Richard Linklater’s new movie, That’s What I’m Talking About is looking for extras to work on a scene filming in Manor, Texas.

Filming will take place on Wednesday, October 29th and producers are looking for extras to play country bar patrons and two-steppers. Casting directors are looking for men and women ages 18 to 26 that look like “country types”.

Untitled Richard Linklater Project Casting Call

AUSTIN, TX Casting Notice – Feature Film “Untitled Richard Linklater” project (aka “TWITA”) for work on WEDNESDAY 10/29/14 in MANOR, TX.

**Possible wardrobe fitting on TUESDAY 10/28/14 between 1:00pm-5:00pm in AUSTIN.

**MUST HAVE PROOF of TEXAS RESIDENCY and Valid photo ID!**

Pay rate for EXTRAS is $64.00 for 8 hours ($8.00/hour with an 8 hour guarantee). Overtime will be paid after 8 hours. You will receive a check in the mail 10-14 business days AFTER you work.

You would need to be available ALL DAY – Tentative Call time MAY be around 12:30pm and you should be prepared to work until roughly 1:00am (possibly later). You MUST have open/flexible availability if submitting so that you can work WHATEVER the end times ends up being. If not, please DO NOT SUBMIT! If you have work or class at all scheduled for this date – you are NOT available. Call time could be early in the morning!

Location on WEDNESDAY 10/29/14 is in MANOR

*EXTRAS*:
COUNTRY BAR PATRONS & TWO-STEPPERS: male and female, all ethnicities, age range 18-26, country types, guys should have shaggier (covering your ears) hair – NO beards, but mustaches & long sideburns are OK. Should be comfortable in and familiar with being in a country bar. Two-Step dance experience is helpful but not required (*please specify your experience when submitting)
