Matthew McConaughey’s ‘Dark Tower’ Open Casting Call for Lead Roles

Stephen King’s new movie The Dark Tower is now casting lead roles.

Betty Mae Casting is looking for 13 to 15 year old actors to star in the upcoming Stephen King movie Dark Tower movie directed by Nikolaj Arcel movie currently code named “Diamond City”.

According to Deadline, Dark Tower is the latest movie directed by Nikolaj Arcel. The Dark Tower centers around Gunslinger Roland Deschain as he roams an Old West-like landscape in search of the dark tower, in the hopes that reaching it will preserve his dying world. Dark Tower stars Idris Elba and Matthew McConaughey.

Betty Mae Casting has cast for major motion pictures including Joy, American Hustle, Silver Linings Playbooy, Noah, Black Swan, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, The Divergent Series, and Spy Kids.

According to the casting call Betty Mae casting is casting for the role of Jack.

“This boy has had a hard time adjusting to the death of his father, a 9/11 first responder who died of toxic exposure. Now living with his worn-down mother and a stepfather who dislikes him, Jack is prone to vivid nightmares of other worlds and apocalyptic destruction, dreams that have landed him in the care of a shrink. About to be shipped off to a psychiatric facility, Jack realizes that his “escorts” are actually inhuman creatures bent on his abduction. Fleeing their clutches, Jack escapes into another world – where he soon realizes that his “insane” nightmares were actually visions of an impending apocalypse that will destroy not only Earth, but all worlds in the wider multi-verse.
