Cinemax ‘The Knick’ Season 2 casting call for dancers in New York City.

The Knick centers around New York City in the 1900s, and the Knickerbocker Hospital. Dr. John Thackery, battles his cocaine and opium addictions with his ambition for medical discovery and his reputation among his peers. Dr. Algernon Edwards, must fight for respect within the all-white populated hospital, as well as the racially-charged city. While literally struggling to keep the lights on, the hospital attempts to attract a wealthy clientele, without sacrificing quality care.

Casting directors are looking for burlesque dancers to work on Cinemax series ‘The Knick’. Filming will take place in New York City on March 11th and producers are looking for women ages 20 to 30 to work on the upcoming scene.

Casting for EXPERIENCED Burlesque dancers for Cinemax series THE KNICK, which takes place in 1901 NYC. Everyone must be ok working around atmospheric smoke. Seeking Caucasian or African American females, age range 20s-30s, burlesque dancers at a Moulin Rouge-type dance hall in 1901 New York. Shoot date March 11.
