ABC New TV Pilot ‘American Crime’ Party Scene Casting Call in Austin, Texas

ABC ‘American Crime’ Television pilot is still casting actors to work in the new production filming in Austin, Texas.

On Location casting is currently looking for actors to portray background extras in a party scene in the new television series for ABC. Filming is schedulded for Friday, March 21st in Austin, Texas.

American Crime centers on a racially charged murder the subsequent trial, which are examined through the personal lives of the people involved in the crime. The case gets bigger and bigger, becoming a point of conversation in America’s views on race, class and gender politics.

The series is written and executive produced by Oscar Winning Screenplay writer John Ridley.

AUSTIN, TX Casting Notice – ABC Television Pilot “American Crime” for work on FRIDAY 3/21/14.

Pay rate is $58.00 for 8 hours ($7.25/hr) plus overtime paid after 8 hours (if necessary). Additional small amount added if chosen as a ‘kissing couple’.

We obviously do NOT have Call Times yet so it could be a VERY early morning start and/or could possibly shoot late into the evening/night. You MUST have open/flexible availability if submitting so that you can work WHATEVER the call times ends up being. If not, please DO NOT SUBMIT!

Location is in the AUSTIN,TX area. 

*EXTRAS* 
PARTY COUPLES: male and female, African American/Hispanic/Asian, age range 18-30, hip, ‘real’ couple who would be willing to kiss/make-out on camera during a party scene. This will be a hip-hop ‘twitter’ party scene.
