ABC ‘Dirty Dancing’ Casting Call for College Students

ABC’s Dirty Dancing is now casting college students in North Carolina.

Tona B. Dahlquist Casting is looking for college students to play resort staff for an upcoming scene in the new Dirty Dancing movie.

Casting directors are looking for actors between the ages of 19 to 26 years old to work on scenes filming around Hendersonville, Saluda, Cashiers and Asheville, North Carolina.


 

About Dirty Dancing:

The new ‘Dirty Dancing’ remake will be a three-episode TV miniseries on ABC. The TV miniseries will feature a “night of singing and dancing as we update the classic film ‘Dirty Dancing’ as a three-hour event.”

According to our previous report, Dirty Dancing will will create 1,225 jobs in North Carolina including 900 extras, 30 cast members and 225 “crew/full time” jobs.

Dirty Dancing Open Casting Call

DIRTY DANCING -We are arranging Fittings for potential Resort Staff. Should be of College Age (19 -26) with much availability in our filming areas of Hendersonville, Saluda, Cashiers and Asheville.

This does not mean available on weekends or random hours of certain days.
It means 100% available on any day needed.. at any location needed.
Hoping to get some of those “truly” available in for fitting on Monday or Tuesday.
Due to period wardrobe available, most should be of slender build.


No visible tattoos, piercings (other than ears for females), no males with long hair or facial hair., no females with super short hair…this is a 1963 Period Film!


For starter MUST be available April 14th for filming…and additional dates to come.
